What's in 2.0

The biggest journeybot update yet. Here's what you'll be testing.

Trips with several stops

Add each stop and how many nights you'll stay. journeybot works out the dates and draws your whole route on one map, with real driving times for road trips.

A forecast for every stop

Each stop gets its own weather for the days you're there. Currency and local time follow the stop you're at.

Bring your own bags

Set up the bags you really travel with, like a camera sling or a second suitcase, and split your things between them.

Pack one thing at a time

Packing mode shows the next thing to pack, big enough to read from across the room. Tap Packed, Later or Not taking it.

journeybot on Apple Watch

Tick items off your packing list from your wrist. On the road, one glance shows the local time, today's weather, the plugs and the currency.

Know when to tip

See tipping customs for every country on your route, with amounts per service and links to the sources behind them.

journeybot for Mac

Beta coming soon

A real Mac app is on its way, with your journeys in a sidebar, the journey page beside them, menus and keyboard shortcuts. It's the same purchase as on iPhone, so your trips arrive through iCloud and Premium comes along.

Pick Mac when you sign up and you'll hear first when the Mac beta opens.

Connect to Assistants

An MCP connector lets assistants like Claude look at your journeys and packing lists on your Mac. Ask what's still left to pack, or what the weather looks like at your next stop.

Built for the Mac

Written for macOS, not a stretched iPad app. Settings live in their own window, and menus and shortcuts cover what you do most.
